Sharing Sweet Lyrics

Train "Marry Me"

Forever can never be long enough for me
Feel like I've had long enough with you
Forget the world now we won't let them see
But there's one thing left to do

Now that the weight has lifted
Love has surely shifted my way
Marry Me
Today and every day
Marry Me
If I ever get the nerve to say
Hello in this cafe
Say you will
Mm-hmm
Say you will
Mm-hmm

Together can never be close enough for me
Feel like I am close enough to you
You wear white and I'll wear out the words I love
And you're beautiful
Now that the wait is over
And love and has finally shown her my way
Marry me
Today and every day
Marry me
If I ever get the nerve to say hello in this cafe
Say you will
Mm-hmm
Say you will
Mm-hmm

Promise me
You'll always be
Happy by my side
I promise to
Sing to you
When all the music dies

And marry me
Today and everyday
Marry me
If I ever get the nerve to say hello in this cafe
Say you will
Mm-hmm
Say you will
Marry me
Mm-hmm

SUCH AN AMAZING SONG.
LOVE FALLING ASLEEP TO THIS.
GOONIGHT Y'ALL... SWEET DREAMS ♥ ♥

30 Day Blog Challege: Day 13

Day 13: Goals

This blog comes at such a perfect time, New Years Resolution time. I have a few goals that I'm going to try and stick too next year and few goals from the past I'm going to try and continue.

1) Eat healthier. Michael and I (with the exception of this week) have been eating gluten free, skipping out on fast food, and overall choosing better ingredients for our diet. I'd like to continue that for a healthier lifestyle.

2) Work out. Period. We're fortunate enough to pretty much have a personal LA Fitness in our home. And I never use it. So, next year, a new goal of mine is to get my booty off the couch and into the gym at least once a week. That may sound like a piece of cake to you, but for me, that's going to be a real challenge.

3) Two years ago, my New Year's resolution was to take more photos. I did really good that year but this year kind of slacked, so I want to try and be better at that.

4) Another new goal of mine is to learn/try to be more patient. One of the reasons I say I'm not ready for kids right now is because I have such a short fuse. I definitely need to try and build more patience.

5) I need to try and not sweat the small stuff.

6) Another goal I'm setting for myself is to learn French.

7) This is kind of a quadruple goal. I need to learn some self control, not to splurge and to cut back on spending and save more. I have developed a habit about getting on my computer, immediately going to nordstrom.com to see what new stuff they've added and not thinking twice before purchasing. It's very silly. And needs to stop.

8) Lastly for 2011, begin researching and working towards a certificate in event planning.

I believe in God.

I believe good triumphs over evil.

I believe in the sacrament of marriage.

I believe all dogs go to Heaven. Corny as it sounds... I really do :-)

I believe my husband has a lot to prove in his industry. And I believe there are great things in store for him/us.

I believe honesty is the best policy.

I believe what goes around comes around.

I believe love conquers all.

I believe in stopping to smell the roses.

I believe in "if it sounds to good to be true, it usually is."

I believe music and laughter (and wine) can heal the soul.

I believe food is meant to be enjoyed.

I believe I have been blessed with the most amazingly family ever.

I believe true friends are hard to find, difficult to leave and impossible to forget.

I believe the Steelers are the greatest football time of all time.

I believe nice guys do finish last.

I believe life isn't easy.

I believe in doing unto others.

I believe a smile goes a long way.

I believe in happily ever afters.

....

I believe in a lot.

30 Day Blog Challege: Day 8, 9, 10 & 11

Day 8: A place I've traveled to
I definitely have been very fortunate to have traveled to a lot of really cool places. I'm from a very cultured family so my parents have shown me "my roots" taking me to Vietnam (and Singapore that trip) and to Italy. My mom's 3 sisters now live in France/Switzerland so I've been blessed to travel there a few times too. Michael's Australian so of course we've done
a few trips to his homeland as well... and New Zealand since it's so close. I've also been fortunate to see England twice too. They're ALL way to cool to narrow it down to just one place.

Day 9: A picture of your friends!
Michael always makes fun of me for having "a million best friends" because I do consider most of my friends best friends. I'd rather have a few amazing ones than a million semi-ones. This is a picture of my bridesmaids and I. All whom I consider best friends. I wouldn't have chosen them to stand beside me on my wedding day unless they were totally awesome.

Day 10: Something I'm afraid of...
Hahaha what am I not afraid of? Last time I was forced to watch a scary movie I stayed up 48 hours straight... and that was in high school. It wasn't fun walking into 1st period looking like death because I sat up in bed all night with my lights on.

Day 11: Favorite TV Shows
Such an easy one. Vampire Diaries, of course, because I need my weekly fill of sexy, blood-sucking romantics. Modern Family, Desperate Housewives, Greys, Private Practice, The Nanny, Regis & Kelly, Hellcats and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are set to record weekly as well.

Merry Christmas Er'body!

Hoping everyone had a wonderful day! I definitely was spoiled. It's been a blessing being able to share the holiday with my family... in the warmer weather! :-) It was around 70 degrees today! After going 7 days straight I've totally slacked on my 30 Day Blog Challenge. But I'll resume again and catch up sometime tomorrow!

XOXO

30 Day Blog Challege: Day 7

Day 7: Favorite Movies

Oh I love movies! It's like one of my favorite things! Nothing beats snuggling up on the couch with a bowl of popcorn (or glass of wine depending on the company) and laughing 'til you cry or crying 'til your husband looks over at you and laughs.

It's hard to narrow it down, so these are ones that come to mind straight away (random order):

Who didn't love "The Little Rascals!"
"Dear Darla, I hate hate your stinkin guts. You make me vomit. You're the sccuuuummm between my toes. Love, Alphalfa."

"Eclipse"
If I had to choose ONE Twilight movie, it'd have to be Eclipse. It was my favorite book and the acting just keeps getting better and better, thank goodness. Love me some Edward and Jacob too!

"A Walk to Remember"
This one is definitely a classic in my book. I remember my best friend and I in high school would watch this EVERY day the summer it came out on DVD. And I loved to go around the house and sing Mandy Moore's song "Only Hope" too.

Disney's "Aladdin"
I am so not ashamed to admit that now in my 20's, I still love to watch Disney movies. Mainly the older ones. I haven't yet seen "Tangled" but it's on the to-do list. It was really a tie between this, "Lion King" and "Beauty and the Beast" because I LOVED these movies + the soundtracks when I was younger. I still could probably sing the majority of the songs to this day.

"Pretty Woman"
I mean, it's probably against the rules of chick flicks to not love this movie, right? My crush on Richard Gere began with this movie, and Julia Roberts, let's not kid ourselves. She's gorgey. Although Richard was recently replaced by Jason Statham (the HottieMcHottie from Transporter.)

"50 First Dates"
This is one of my feel good go-to movies. It's romantic and funny and there's the loveable Walrus Jocko. What more could you ask for?

Ghost, A League of Their Own, The Godfather, Sister Act, The Body Guard, The Wedding Planner, Australia - "Misses Boss" - Loved when he says that!, The Green Mile, Turner & Hooch and K-9, and Cruel Intentions would make my list of favorites too!

Done Done Done

YAY! Officially, as of 9:48 today, done with Christmas shopping! Crazy that we cut waaayy back this year on our Christmas list but yet it still took me longer than years past to finish all the shopping!

Either way, glad it's all done. Now for a cup of hot chocolate!
